How to unblock Roblox in Algeria

If Roblox won't work in Algeria, you're not alone: it has been blocked since 2025. Here's how to get it back with NordVPN, one step at a time.

Short answer

Use NordVPN, connect to South Africa, then open Roblox.

We picked NordVPN because it's the best fit for Roblox here: largest network of the six, with the NordWhisper protocol for networks that inspect traffic.

Try NordVPN

Why Roblox doesn't work in Algeria

Roblox has been blocked in Algeria since 2025.

Apps normally work, but Algeria restricts the internet nationwide during the baccalaureate exams every June.

Is a VPN legal in Algeria? Legal. No specific VPN ban.

Step by step with NordVPN

  1. Install and sign in

Install NordVPN on the phone or computer where you use Roblox, then sign in.

  2. Check the protocol

Leave the protocol on NordLynx (the default). You don't need obfuscation for this block.

  3. Connect to a nearby server

Connect to a server in South Africa, France or Germany. Roblox works normally in these countries, and nearby servers are faster.

  4. Restart the game and log in

Fully close the game, then open it again with the VPN connected so it picks up the new route.

  5. Leave the VPN on

Keep NordVPN connected while you use Roblox. If you disconnect, the block applies again.

Tip: Pick the nearest working server: every extra country between you and the game server adds ping.

If it still doesn't work

  • Force-close Roblox and open it again after the VPN connects.
  • Try another server in the same country.
  • Turn off your browser's or phone's "private DNS" setting if it overrides the VPN.

Or try another VPN
