What's going on
Haiti does not block platforms. The problem is infrastructure: Digicel's international fibre along National Road 1 was cut on 16 October and 25 November 2025, and again on 23 September, in early October and on 12 October 2026, when the company blamed heavy gunfire. Nine journalists have reportedly been killed since 2022.
Before you connect: A VPN can't fix outages; having a second network (Natcom) helps.
